Charli Robinson, one of the founding members of the iconic children’s television show and musical group, Hi-5, has signed up to be a Big Walk for Little Kids champion!
Appearing on the Channel 7 Morning Show on Wednesday 4 September, Charli spoke of her experiences touring with the Hi-5 group, visiting children’s hospitals and meeting kids impacted by cancer and their families.
“I realised what a gift Hi-5 was, that you can change someone’s day with what they’re going through, take them out of that moment and that is what resonated with Camp Quality. They are there to bring light and laughter and a break from the heaviness of what the families are going through,” says Charli.
This year Charlie has signed up as Big Walk for Little Kids Champion to help fundraising for Camp Quality. The Big Walk for Little Kids is a virtual event during September, where everyday Aussies walk, run or roll 50km, 100km or 150km to help give childhood back to kids facing cancer.
“Walk as many steps as you can during the month of September … and raise funds for Camp Quality to bring light love and laughter into a child and a family’s life.”
The funds raised will support Camp Quality to provide hospital programs, Cancer Education Programs and recreation programs which include camps, fun days and family getaways for kids and families facing cancer.
